Hey Richard, Happy Holidays and good article. Nice reference to have in one place.
Not to nitpick, but I’d say that the majority of the manufacturing capability in Japan was wiped out with conventional bombing runs instead of the two nuclear ones. Look at the damage done to Tokyo.
There are a couple of places where you quote something and then put a period after the quote in addition to the quoted period, this is redundant (ie. “The quoted stuff.”. vs. “The quoted stuff.”).
I’ve posted it to the Startup Monday blog (http://startupshk.com/). I’m trying to spread the word here about getting Lean into startups here in HK.

Hey Jonathan, Great comments as usual. I really need to ask you to start proof reading my documents and presentations! You have an eye for detail that I’ve never had. Many thanks for posting to Startup Monday. I hope all is going well in HK. Have a great Xmas and New Year!…. Rich

Hey Richard,
Happy New Year to you too. HK is good, unlike the rest of the Northern Hemisphere, we don’t have snow or freezing temperatures currently. The coming next year or two look to be exciting ones, with the startup culture starting to get some traction here along with interest in investors. I’m doing what I can to promote Lean values within these new companies, so new material is always appreciated.
If you ever need me to look over something, just send it my way, no worries.
Jonathan
